It's been near thirty five years since the early heyday of Thrash, when Philip Lawvere was one of the first cover painters for the genre in Berlin, Germany.
Nowadays he still produces the occasional cover for a new generation of Metal bands, although he's developed a number of other interests that consume most of his time.
