Born May 19th 1962, in Berkeley California, his parents moved him to Halifax, Canada when he was two, and then to Spanish Harlem in Manhattan, when in second grade, attending P.S. 165. Finally they moved to Boston where he went to Brookline High school, before escaping the educational system at 16, and leaving home. He did not attend art school, but instead immediately began working to support himself as an illustrator and graphic artist, beginning with a silkscreen company in Gloucester Mass called CYRK. After spending some time in the hardcore punk scene of the early eighties in Boston, he became disillusioned with it, and left the US to move to Greece at 20, where among other things, he worked on fishing boats, painted signs and did a variety of jobs to support himself. He then moved on to Berlin Germany where he did his stint with the famed NOISE records between 1984-1987. Unusually, after a promising and successful beginning in art there, he completely turned his back on it for many years. This in part had to do with a lifelong search for answers that began with a profound spiritual experience he had during his stay in Berlin. It also had to do with his hero Frank Frazetta. Beyond those few facts, are a number of lifetimes and identities all rolled into one story - which many people have suggested he turn into a book.
