1985 - "That was my first ever cover for NOISE, and the first for a band which was then called TORMENTOR - who following my advice to Karl Walterbach, changed their name to KREATOR.
Karl had wanted to call them 'Creatür' like creature in Danish (with an umlaut), and I suggested calling them Kreator... like God the Creator, but with a K. I told him American kids would love that, and being a good business man he did.
It's the only Kreator cover that has no personal meaning to me. I'm sorry to dissapoint fans, but I think it's one of the most poorly painted covers I've ever done. The truth is that my heart wasn't really in it... I just did it for the few Deutsch marks Karl was paying. I was still into punk, and hadn't gotten to respect Thrash yet."
